Helping people has always been my passion. My life has revolved around being there for others, whether it be my family, social justice causes and organizations, my students, our pets and foster pets, or now, my real estate clients.
I grew up in Portage, Indiana, but moved to Chicago when I was twelve years old. I have lived in the Chicagoland area since then. I received a Bachelors in Education from Loyola University and a Masters in Child Development from the Erikson Institute. My background in education, which began when I was fifteen years old, includes being a teacher, a developmental therapist and a director of schools. Educating people and helping them has been my calling for as long as I can remember.
My greatest passion is my children. Between us, my husband and I have five children: Sam, George, Andrew, Megan, and Ethan. We also have two adorable pups, Pax and Luna, and love to open up our home to foster dogs. I would have 100 dogs if I could! Every day of our life is an adventure!
A desire to help people, and my social work background, makes me inclined to support the emotional needs of my clients. I love helping clients find their forever homes, and I deeply understand there is more to a real estate transaction than the financial/legal transaction. Before beginning a search, you must understand and listen to your clients – and listen to what they need, even if this is unspoken. This is why I really enjoy working with first time-home buyers. Being able to guide and educate them through the process is extremely rewarding to me.
